KLM, in partnership with a dozen travel agencies, this month came up with a Destinations Package for the Philippine market.
It’s a local adaptation of the Euro Package which the airline has launched in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Destinations Packages are divided into four categories: Active and Outdoor for backpackers and yuppies; Arts & Culture for museum and architecture aficionados as well as foodies; Historical Sites; Travel and Cruise for tours that include cruise arrangements and Hidden Attractions for off-the-beaten track tourist spots.
The list includes Ark Travel Express Inc.’s 4 days /3 nights London package for US$1,561; Budget Travel & Tours Inc.’s 6-day Iceland tour for USD$4,500; First United Travel, Inc.’s 6-day holiday in the French Riviera for USD$2,385; Marsman Drysdale Travel Inc.’s 8-day Amazing Europe for USD$2,692 and Pan Pacific’s 8-day Wonders of Greece for USD$1,888.
Also included are Rajah Travel Corp.’s 20-Day South America Explorer for USD$3,465 and 8-Day Contiki Eastern Rocker for USD$2,065; Seasons Travel and Tours 4-nights Rome and the Italian Tuscany for USD$1,934+++; Travel People’s 8-day Fly & Cruise Package covering Greece, Croatia and Italy for USD$2,274 and Wayfair Tours, Inc.’s 7-day Magic of Majestic Fjords of Norway for USD$2,468.
The KLM Sales team pre-selected 12 travel agency partners catering to leisure destinations because the airline targets to expand further into the leisure market and promote both popular and unique places.
